Joey is a dedicated legal professional with over 15 years of experience in putting criminals behind bars. Born and raised in our community, Joey understands the values and challenges that Calcasieu families face every day.
After graduating from law school, Joey began his career as a prosecutor, fighting to keep our communities safe. Throughout his career, Joey has built a reputation for fairness, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
As a community leader, Joey has volunteered with local organizations, mentored young lawyers, and worked tirelessly to improve access to justice for all Louisiana residents. Joey believes that the law should be applied equally and fairly to everyone, regardless of background or circumstances.

Justice delayed is justice denied. Joey will work to reduce case backlogs and ensure timely resolution of cases.
Work with law enforcement to get drug traffickers, rapists, and murderers out of our neighborhoods.
